The American artist Peter Campus' exhibition at Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, in part of a former monastery and old ceramic factory in Sevilla, spanned several rooms, running the length of one side of a courtyard with a central chapel.
Campus' work dates back to 1970s up until the present day. He has used analog and digital video to create interactive experiences for the viewer.
He explores distortions of our own identity using film as a medium to capture the viewer in real-time, within the installation space. Using digital photographic techniques to construct and deconstruct landscapes and architectural forms, he breaks up the image into colour planes that oscillate in semi-abstract forms.
